Who We Are

Mustard Seeds is a Christian based program with a blend of educational philosophies.  Mustard Seeds is a licensed preschool ministry of Commerce United Methodist Church.  

What We Do

Mustard Seeds is not a “day care” – we engage and encourage students to learn and grow.  We regularly engage them in lessons on language, math, phonics, social studies, science, music, art – even basic Español!  We strive to provide an environment where every child feels safe and can count on adults who are both caring and educational at the same time.

What We Offer

Offering half and full day sessions, it is our goal to provide opportunities for meaningful play and education that is based on the child’s needs, interests and abilities.  We focus on building important foundations that best suit your child, with both one-on-one and group learning experiences.

Mustard Seeds consists of two programs:  Three & Four Year Old and Pre-K/ Four & Five Year Old .  We offer morning, afternoon and full day options Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:15 am to 12:15 pm, 12:15 pm to 3:15 pm,  or, for a full day program, from 9:15 am to 3:15 pm.  

The primary focus of the Mustard Seeds' Three & Four Year Old program is on social skills, allowing children the opportunity to learn how to play well with other children and share.  We offer group learning with stories, art projects, organized games and activities that help develop small motor skills.

In the Mustard Seeds' Pre-K/ Four & Five Year Old program, we focus on pre-kindergarten skills as well as offering group learning, including stories, art projects, organized games and activities that help develop small and large motor skills.
