Children's Ministries

Our Children’s ministry, known as ‘Kids of the Kingdom’, is designed to join with families in building relationships with Jesus, guiding and leading children in spiritual growth. We offer a space for children to cultivate lifelong friendships; while learning through traditional study, mission work, movement and creativity.

Kids' Klub+

4th Wednesday of every month

The fourth Wednesday of every month Kids Klub+ offers an opportunity for families to share a pizza dinner, and then let the kids have some fun while the parent(s) run errands, or just sit and chat. This program is designed for preschool to fifth grade kids to just HAVE FUN, without the structure of "have-to-dos" that they have had all day long. A few examples of recent Kids Klub+ themes are reindeer games, an indoor snowball fight, and a glow party.

Vacation Bible School

June 17th - June 21st, 2024

Kids will be challenged as they discover that God’s truth never changes, everyone needs Jesus, and learn to speak the truth in love. Adventure awaits each day as kids explore tide pools, spot orcas, fly kites, and watch the mighty waves crash up against the immovable Breaker Rock!

"Kids of the Kingdom" Sunday School

Following Sermon on the Steps

This program is designed for Preschool through 5th grade.  The children begin service with their family.  Early on, children are invited to come forward for the Children's Message.  We call it "Sermon on the Steps".  The pastor will share a sermon topic at a level appropriate for the kids.  They are then dismissed upstairs for Sunday School. We use a United Methodist curriculum to involve a more traditional bible lesson, along with a craft or activity.

Kids On a Mission

KOM meets on the 2nd Sunday of the month during the school year

KOM is a part of our Children and Youth Sunday School programs.  Each month is a different HANDS ON mission project.  Our leaders rotate through the classes each month, sharing information on a different local or international mission and then they do a hands-on project that will benefit that program.  Examples of some of the mission projects we support are Operation Christmas Child, Street Outreach, animal shelters, College Ministry, NIC Units, Heifer Project International, and PET (Personal Energy Transportation vehicles).  KOM also goes beyond the walls of the church to do a park clean up for Earth Day.
