What is Elderberries? A fellowship of seniors at Commerce UMC who meet the third Thursday of each month. Our Mission of Fun, Adventure and Fellowship evolved out of all we have done: Enjoying home cooking, diverse cultural restaurants; visiting historical mansions, museums, plays, unique businesses, such as the Chocolate Factory; taking cruises; and education through guest speakers. Who is invited? Everyone who is not at work - that is ALL ages. Bring family and children to our adventurous trips and especially our picnics at our local parks. The Elderberries has resumed the monthly fellowship gatherings. For the October meeting we are celebrating our Birthdays by bringing a wrapped "White Elephant" gift for the hilarious exchange in which you have three choices to keep your selected treasure or take another's treasure. We always have a grand time and invite all of our church family seniors to join us.
