Weekly & Monthly Publications

"The Connection" is a weekly publication that contains the continually updated prayer request list, reflecting on those who have long term needs and our loved ones in the military.  It also gives both members and visitors a great means to know what is going on in and around Commerce UMC, how they can get involved in fellowship and serving the Lord, and updates on Christian education, Vacation Bible School, Disciples-in-Training Sunday school, bible studies, prayer groups, and volunteer and fun event opportunities.  
 

On the first of each month, Commerce UMC's newsletter, "The STEEPLE", is released.  The STEEPLE is an excellent way to stay connected to Commerce UMC.  Each edition lists the month's message titles along with their reference scripture, committee updates, the monthly volunteer schedules, a monthly activities and building usage calendar, birthdays and anniversaries, jokes / puzzles / recipes, and much more.  It can be accessed from our website, received through email, or picked up on the 1st week of each month's worship service.  If you would like it emailed directly to you, please send your request, listing the email address you want used, to the church office here.
