The Commerce United Methodist Church building is an active part of the Commerce Township, Michigan, community.  Not only is it a home for worship, but numerous groups utilize our facilites for a multitude of events.  The Sanctuary, Chapel & Fellowship Hall can be reserved for events such as weddings and funerals, birthday parties, baby showers, and anniversary parties, to name just a few.

To check the availability of a date you might be interested in reserving, please contact the church office to inquire at (248) 363-3935.   

To use the building for an event other than a wedding or a funeral, please print and complete the Building Usage Public Request Form and return it to Commerce UM Church, 1155 N. Commerce Road, Commerce Township, MI 48382.  Or, you can drop it off at the church office during normal business hours of 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Thursday.  Once the request is approved by our Pastor, it will be moved through the Trustee & Ad Council approval process. When your building usage request approval has been completed, you will receive either a phone call or an email to confirm (or reject, if not approved) the details of your event date and time and any fees that may apply.

If you are interested in using the building for a wedding or a funeral, please call the church office (248) 363-3935 to inquire about dates available on the calendar.  The Public Request Form is not necessary to use our facilities for funerals or weddings.
